OREANDA-NEWS. Meat Processing Plant “Dnepr”, a part of KSG Agro Group, announced preliminary results for the II quarter and the first half of 2015. Revenue for the second quarter amounted to 18.7 million hryvnia (including VAT) against.

8.7 million hryvnia in the first quarter. Sales of meat and meat products in the first half amounted to 800 tons.
“We have achieved good results for the first half of this year, – said Igor Ushakov, Director of the meat processing factory. – The company showed strong growth dynamics. In the first half of 2015, revenues were 27.4 million hryvnia, which is more than 6 times, compared with the first half of 2014. This growth was made possible by the fact that our customers are satisfied with the quality of our pork bacon. The consequence is an increase in range of consumers. We sell our products only on the domestic market. Our reliable partner is a retail chain Karavan”.
More than 90% of pork is supplied to the factory from KSG Agro Group pig-breeding business. The rest of the products are purchased from third agribusiness parties. Because in some areas there are registered ASF outbreaks, the meat factory has increased the levels of protection. Stringent requirements on quality and veterinary control are imposed for raw materials. In this situation, the factory has decided to refuse from supplies of meat from third parties in the agro-industre, and only buys products from own pig farm.
