OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk commissioned to urgently erect necessary facilities at the checkpoints on the border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The Head of Government announced at the Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday, August 5.

At the Government meeting, Chairman of the State Border Service Viktor Nazarenko reported about extremely poor condition of the checkpoints and absence of necessary infrastructure for the citizens.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk addressed Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andrii Pyvovarsky together with the Chairman of Kherson regional state administration to visit the site as soon as possible.

"In order to design a simple clear blueprint, to understand how much money to spend. And to equip these checkpoints before winter comes," the Prime Minister appealed to the Minister.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk also noted that the maintaining of the checkpoints is within the responsibility of the RSA head. The Prime Minister addressed head of the Kherson regional state administration Andrii Putylov: "General supervision over these activities is within your responsibility. The Central authorities will help you here."
