OREANDA-NEWS. For the second consecutive year, BNY Mellon has been named as a Caring Company in Hong Kong for its commitment in caring for its employees, community and the environment.

During 2014, BNY Mellon employees in Hong Kong volunteered over 580 hours through various initiatives, including conducting interviewing skill workshops for ethnic minority students, collecting donations for a local food bank, participating in a beach clean-up and visiting elderly care centers.

In its 13th year, the Caring Company Scheme was launched by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service with an aim to cultivate good corporate citizenship and recognize organizations that care for the local community.
