OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian market of LCV, which last year ranked the fourth in Europe in the I half of 2015, has left the "Top-five" of European leaders.

According to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), the sales of light commercial vehicles in Europe for six months of 2015 grew by 12.1% to 887,211 units. The leader among the European countries by sales of LCV up to 3.5 tonnes is France - the sales of light commercial vehicles in the country were 191,451 units (+ 0.8%). UK kept the second place with 186 404 sold vehicles (+ 19.8%), and third place is occupied by Germany, whose LCV market grew by 6.7% to 113,813 units. Spain came to the fourth place - its result was 76,721 light commercial vehicles (+ 35.6%). Italy continues to close the "top-five" of leaders, where it was sold 62,959 cars (+ 7.7%) in the reporting period. If during the consideration of the European LCV market we take into account Russia, our country has left the "five" leaders. According to the agency "AUTOSTAT", sales of light commercial vehicles in Russia in January-June were 43,098 units (-32.9%). The Russian market of LCV – is alone among the leading countries of Europe, where sales drop is recorded.
