OREANDA-NEWS. In the special report titled 'Group of Municipalities Rated by Fitch Ratings', Fitch briefly presents the behavior of the main variables considered in assessing credit risk in Mexican municipalities.

This publication contains the median of 27 variables related to income, expenditures, investment, financial flexibility, indebtedness, liquidity, sustainability, as well as other short term and non-bank related liabilities. The intention of this publication is to provide transparency to the financial community and about the nature and measuring methods of indicators and financial ratios used by Fitch.

This analysis shows the median's tendency for the fiscal years ranging from 2008 to 2013 for the whole sample and by different credit rating ranges. Factors that play a role in the tendency of the variables are also described.
