OREANDA-NEWS. IDGC of Centre, PJSC continues systematic work on the collection of receivables. The Company conducts it in collaboration with the authorities in the regions of its service area within the established at the initiative of PJSC "Rosseti" commissions to monitor payments to electricity companies. The commissions regularly hear defaulters, set specific dates and schedules of repayment of accumulated debts. Joint efforts bring results: for example, as of July 1, 2015 accounts receivable of counterparties to IDGC of Centre for electricity transmission services amounted to 18.9 billion rubles, which is 459 million rubles, or 2% lower than the level of debt at the beginning of the year.

Claim-related work brings tangible effect. During the first half of the year IDGC of Centre received more than a billion rubles to the accounts, collected from debtors in court. If at the beginning of the year in the court proceedings there were 1,349 cases of debt collection under contracts for the provision of electricity transmission services totalling 13.7 billion rubles, then as of July 1, their number increased to 1,834 and the total amount of claimed for recovery funds was 15.8 billion rubles.

According to Deputy Director General for Sale and Development of Services of IDGC of Centre Evgeniya Kabanova, the issue of debt collection is extremely relevant in terms of ensuring reliable energy supply to customers, since the funds received for the electricity transmission services are directed primarily at construction, modernization and repair of the power grid infrastructure.
