OREANDA-NEWS. The Latvian airline airBaltic has achieved +52% passenger growth in July year-on-year on its routes to and from the Estonian capital of Tallinn.

Christophe Viatte, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: "airBaltic's home market is Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. airBaltic recently introduced new direct flights from Tallinn to major hubs in Europe, and will evaluate additional direct flights from the Estonian capital in the future."

In July, airBaltic served 27 895 passengers arriving to and departing from Tallinn, or +52% more than in the same month a year ago, when airBaltic carried 18 362 passengers.

For the summer 2015, airBaltic has introduced 14 new routes. It is the largest expansion since the airline has achieved profitability.

airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia. From every one of these locations,airBaltic offers convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
