Beltelecom Uses GPON in Kokhanovo urban settlement of Tolochin district
OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2015. As autumn approaches, modernization of telephone network and switching of numbering capacity using GPON technology will be launched in Kokhanovo urban settlement of Tolochin district.
The technology involves laying a fiber optic cable directly to subscriber's apartment that will allow subscribers to have permanent high speed Internet access (up to 100 Mbit/s), watch digital interactive television ZALA in HD-quality, as well as use additional telephone services. The switching starts from the street Mikrorayon, the list includes houses 2, 2A, 3, 3A, 3B, all in all, about 380 apartments.
