OREANDA-NEWS. During MAKS 2015 International Aviation and Space Salon, Sberbank and Shvabe Holding (part of State Corporation Rostech) entered into a non-revolving credit line agreement worth more than RUB 4.4 bln. The document was signed by Senior Vice President of Sberbank Svetlana Sagaidak and CEO of Shvabe Sergey Maksin.

Sberbank's credit line will be used to fund projects to reconstruct and reequip the production facilities of six Shvabe Holding enterprises.

"Supporting the investment projects of Shvabe's enterprises is one of the key areas of cooperation set forth by our partnership agreement," commented Svetlana Sagaidak. "The implementation of these projects will allow the holding to considerably increase its investment potential and become more competitive on the global market."

"These funds will be used to modernise the production facilities at Shvabe enterprises in order to develop the Holding's scientific and technological potential as well as the Russian electro-optics industry," commented Sergey Maksin.

Shvabe Holding is made up of the core enterprises of Russia's electro-optics industry. It has 64 companies, including research and production associations, design bureaus, optics institutes, and service and sales companies. The Holding develops and manufactures high-tech optical and electronic systems and assemblies, optical materials, medical devices, energy-saving lighting equipment and other types of products.
