OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, started providing mobile services under its brand in Kurgan and Tyumen regions, the Chuvash Republic in August 2015. In these regions subscribers may use the 3G high-speed wireless Internet. The operator entered the market of Khanty-Mansy Autonomous Area having launched the 4G network.

Prior to the launch of commercial operations in new regions, the operator promoted key principles and the main features of the company’s brand – low prices, simplicity and honesty in contacts with subscribers.

All those willing had an opportunity to speak out and vote for low prices in the region. Over 237 thou residents voted for profitable tariffs, honesty and high-quality connections in Kurgan and Tyumen regions, the Chuvash Republic and the Khanty-Mansy Autonomous Area. Residents of Kurgan, Tyumen and Chuvashia could take part in the certification program that allows free top-ups of mobile accounts when having connected to Tele2.

The Tele2 brand launch in Rostelecom’s mobile assets is the most large-scale project on the Russian telecommunications market: it took place in 15 regions out of 23 regions planned for 2015. They were earlier operated by Rostelecom mobile companies that joined Tele2 as a part of the deal on formation of a new federal operator.
