OREANDA-NEWS. Ford Thailand today partnered with the Population and Community Development Association (PDA) to announce its Go Further 2015 Scholarship, an inaugural scholarship program for Ford in Thailand. The program invites university students from Eastern Thailand to submit short video clips following the theme of “Go Further – Go Forward for the Development of Thailand” for an opportunity to win a portion of the THB 650,000 scholarship fund.

The program is part of Ford’s commitment to support education for Thai students. This inaugural event will provide students in Eastern Thailand (including Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi, Trad, Chacheangsao, Pracheenburi, and Sra-Keaw provinces) an opportunity to present their creative ideas through three-minute video clips. The submissions must be around Ford’s four core pillars of Quality, Green, Safe and Smart.

Winners will receive 50 scholarships worth more than THB 650,000 combined, and a certificate:

·         Winner (1 recipient): THB 100,000 scholarship

·         First Runner-up (2 recipients): THB 50,000 scholarship

·         Second Runner-up (5 recipients): THB 20,000 scholarship

·         Popular Vote Award (2 recipients): THB 15,000 scholarship

·         Recognition Award (40 recipients): THB 8,000 scholarship

Additionally, all participants selected as finalists will have the opportunity to join Driving Skills for Life (DSFL), Ford’s flagship CSR program that provides hands-on safe driving training to participants. The first 100 students to submit videos will also win souvenirs from Ford.
