OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", for every 1,000 Muscovites there are 311 cars in average. In the Moscow region the figure is higher - 340 cars per 1000 inhabitants. Close to Moscow the car density is even higher, and it exceeds the average Muscovite density by about 20%.

The second place is occupied by Chekhov (447), the third – by Sergiev Posad (426), the fourth line is occupied by the town of Mytishchi, close to Moscow (395), and the fifth place is held by Korolev (392). The sixth place – is occupied by Domodedovo (390), the seventh - Podolsk (383), the eighth place - Odintsovo (383), the ninth - Stupino (371). And the top 10 is closed by Krasnogorsk (371), which as well as some other cities-satellites have merged actually with Moscow.

According to the director of analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergey Tselikov, the personal transport today is often more important for residents of suburbs than the Muscovites, as the most of them have to go every day to work in the capital. However, many of them leave the cars in the parking near the subway. But Muscovites with their four million cars have more and more difficulties every year to move around the city and more expensive to park in the center. However, metropolitan parc continues to grow, though not as fast as the Moscow Region.
