OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, is launching a large-scale communication campaign in Moscow Region. In the run-up to commercial launch, the company will present the Tele2 brand, invite Muscovites to join movement against overpays and vote for low prices in mobile communications.

Tele2 is the only Russian mobile discounter operator: it boasts the loyalty of 35 mn subscribers in over 60 regions, speaks out against unreasonably high tariffs on mobile services in Moscow and declares its adherence to the policy of low prices. The operator sticks to honesty and offers its potential subscribers high-quality services, simple and easy-to-understand mobile services without asterisks and hidden conditions. A commercial launch of the Tele2 network will take place on 22 October 2015.

The Tele2 arrival to Moscow is announced in a massive advertising campaign. Enormous banners will appear at the façade of a skyscraper in the Moscow City business centre, the Hydroproject institute building and at the intersection of the Third Ring Road and the Entuziastov highway. Apart from the outdoor advertising, Muscovites will see materials of the first campaign on TV, radio, Internet as well as in cinema, higher education institutions, at the WiFi home page of the Moscow underground and on other sites. The first advertising campaign of Tele2 is held under the motto “Hey, Moscow! You have your ways but aren’t you fed up with overpays?”.

Tele2 is offering Muscovites to join the operator in its fight against overpays and vote for low prices on the special interactive walls and in photobooths set up in over 20 Moscow higher education institutions, shopping malls of Moscow and Moscow Region. Internet users may also speak out at za.tele2.ru.

As a part of the campaign, the operator is launching a large-scale certificate program. Everyone who votes for low prices of mobile services prior to 21 October 2015 will get a certificate for 1200 rubles. Tele2 will monthly transfer 100 rubles onto the subscriber’s account for over a year – this money can be used as payment for mobile services. Clients may activate the certificate from 22 October to 21 November 2015. More details of the certificate program are published at msk.tele2.ru.

Mikhail Noskov, CEO at Tele2:

“We are just one month away from the start of Tele2’s operations in Moscow. We are happy to announce a launch of the large-scale communication campaign where we are calling on everyone to vote for low prices. Starting from today any Moscow Region resident may declare his unwillingness to pay over for mobile services by pressing a vote button on the Tele2 wall in shopping centres or at the special website. Muscovites are already voting for honesty, low prices and easy-to-understand tariffs – these principles lie at the foundation of our business. Very soon residents of the region will be able to make sure: we will start by offering them simple, transparent tariffs at affordable prices and high-quality service. We are confident that after the Tele2 arrival to the capital, Muscovites will enjoy cuts in expenses on mobile services.”
