OREANDA-NEWS.  Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has decreased a fee for money transfers from the subscriber’s mobile account into the Russian Post subdivisions all over Russia.

From 21 September a fee for money transfers from Tele2 mobile accounts will total only 2% (earlier 5.75%) of the transaction charge plus 50 rubles per one transfer. These are the most profitable conditions on the Russian market of mobile payments.

To transfer money funds, Tele2 subscribers need to send a USSD-request *159# from a mobile account and follow instructions or make a mobile payment online at money.tele2.ru. Special conditions will be in force from 21 September 2015 to 1 January 2016. The service is provided by Tele2 and the Russian Post in cooperation with Mobi. Dengi.

The number of clients who use mobile phone as a reliable and handy payment instrument increased more than 2-fold as compared to September 2014. Over 500 thou subscribers monthly use mobile commerce services. In IH15 mobile commerce turnover at Tele2 increased 86% y-o-y and totaled 1.5 bn rubles.
