Sinochem Group Ranks the 5th on "China's Top 500 Businesses in Foreign Trade" List
OREANDA-NEWS. On the "China's Top 500 Businesses in Foreign Trade" list released on September 17, 2015, by the Chinese Association of Foreign Trade Statisticians, Sinochem Group ranks the 5th on account of the 27.24 billion dollars in total imports and exports.
The list was created based on relevant statistics from the Chinese Customs, with 222 million dollars used as the threshold for any business to be included in the list. In 2014, China's foreign trade as a whole maintained a steady pace of growth, and the country further increased its share in the international market; as a result, China consolidated its status as a trade power, and kept on optimizing its foreign trade structure, thereby leading to continued increases in quality and profits. In fact, the top 500 businesses generated 1.65 trillion dollars in imports and exports, accounting for 39.93% of the country's total volume of foreign trade.
