The Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov addressed with the proposal of extension of measures to support the automotive industry before the end of this year.

He recalled that earlier decisions were made on a number of programs that were supposed to support the development of the automotive industry, including preferential car loans, leasing and others. "Admittedly, these programs work well”, - stated Mr.Medvedev. - For obvious reasons, the money is not dimensionless, and this program is coming to an end. "He asked Mr.Manturov what the minister proposes to do next with these programs.

Head of Industry and Trade said that the program aimed to sell 290,000 cars by year's end, but today this figure reached 380,000. The Minister explained that it is about both passenger cars and trucks. He noted that although before the end of the year we still have time, there is no money for these programs. "I support the proposal to extend the support measures until the end of the year, by allocating certain amounts of money from the fund, which was formed by you to support the economy", - the minister asked.
