Shvabe is Building Up Its Presence in East Africa
OREANDA-NEWS. Shvabe Holding has registered its trademark in the Latin alphabet by 16 classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services in the Republic of Sudan.
The availability of unique rights to use its own trade mark in the territory of Sudan will enable Shvabe to prevent the possibility of forgery of unique products. In the nearest 10 years under intellectual protection of the national patent office there will be all the assortment of products being manufactured by the Holding Company, inter alia, optical appliances, and geodesic instruments, medical equipment and light equipment. In addition, Shvabe can use the brand name during delivery of such services as scientific-research and experimental design work, industry analysis, processing - materials and organization of a teaching process.
"The holding company is strengthening its cooperation with foreign colleagues within the framework of implementation of the integrated program for expansion of production sales markets and promotion of innovative developments. We began to make the first contacts with partners from East Africa at the Arab Health exhibition in 2013. At present a number of projects for equipment of establishments of public health with modern medical equipment is planned in Sudan for implementation," told Anatoliy Sludnykh, Shvabe JSC's deputy general director for sales, foreign economic activity and marketing.
