OREANDA-NEWS. Mostotrest won the public tender for the project “Construction of the Solntsevo-Butovo-Vidnoye Automobile Road. Stage 1: Borovskoye Avenue – Kaluzhskoye Avenue Segment. Stage 1.1: Kiyevskoye Avenue – Kaluzhskoye Avenue Road Segment”. The project customer is the Construction Department of the City of Moscow, project designer: MosInzhProject JSC. The contract value is RUB26.4 billion (including VAT), with the maximum execution period of 34 months.

The Solntsevo-Butovo-Vidnoye road segment is located in Southwest Moscow, in the Troitski and Novomoskovski administrative districts. It will become a core city street with continuous traffic flow and will connect Kiyevskoye Avenue with Kaluzhskoye Avenue bypassing the Moscow Ring Road (MRR). This road will run parallel to the MRR and will link two districts of the capital with each other and the town of Vidnoye, a Moscow satellite, redistributing traffic flows between the radial roads on the approach to the Moscow Ring Road and thus relieving congestion.

In accordance with the contract, Mostotrest will build a 4 km segment of the road's core driveway with 4 four-lane flyovers and 1 two-lane overpass, as well as 3 complex traffic interchanges with tunnels. At the intersection with Kiyevskoye Avenue, Mostotrest will build a two-level interchange, including a two-lane 835 m flyover, a 440 m flyover, and a tunnel through Kievskoe Avenue. As part of the two-level interchange exit for Salaryevo transport interchange hub, the Company will build a tunnel with a length of 610 m. The three-level traffic interchange at the intersection with Kaluzhskoye Avenue will consist of a 400 m tunnel exit onto Kaluzhskoye Avenue and 2 two-lane overpasses with a total length of about 1 km. In addition, along the road segment 3 pedestrian subways will be built, utility lines reconstruction with construction of 5 waste-disposal facilities will be made.
