OREANDA-NEWS. Targa Resource Partners' new 200mn cf/d gas processing plant in Martin county, Texas, will be in service in the second quarter of 2016, according to Pioneer Natural Resources, which holds a 27pc interest in Targa's west Texas gas processing system.

"The system upgrades are resulting in the improved recovery of field gas that results in higher gas and NGL sales volumes," Pioneer said today.

Once the Martin county Buffalo plant is in service, no new plants will be required until there is a significant boost in the rig count near Midland, Texas, according to the company.
