Over Thousand Guests Visited Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod
OREANDA-NEWS. A celebration for company employees and their family members took place at one of Power Machines' key production sites, Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod (LMZ).
During the event, over a thousand guests visited LMZ production facilities, learned about the products manufactured by the factory and the plant history.
"It is remarkable that we can show the place where we work to our friends and relatives, - said Power Machines' General Director Roman Filippov. - Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod has glorious history: it was laid the foundation for the Russian power engineering industry. At the present time, it produces turbines for thermal, nuclear, and hydroelectric power plants supplying electric power and heat to cities and factories throughout the world."
Besides tours of the production facilities and visits to the LMZ history museum, the guests were offered to take part in master classes, interesting lectures, a science show; to draw graffiti, and even to plant a tree.
