OREANDA-NEWS. Power management company Eaton announced that it expanded its Wheelock Exceder LED range to include amber lens strobes and high fidelity speaker strobes for ceiling applications. The new colored lens models are designed for mass notification and emergency communications environments.

“Eaton’s mass notification and emergency communication products incorporate industry-leading technology to help installers and building owners reduce installation and maintenance costs,” said Huyenchau Villas, product manager at Eaton. “Our latest Wheelock Exceder technology, featuring amber lens models, will help customers further reduce their costs and improve energy efficiency.”

Exceder LED ceiling appliances offer one of the industry’s smallest footprints in a low-profile design. To support efficient installation, the series includes dual voltage (25/70V) settings, five field-selectable power settings (1/8 to 2 watts) for the speaker strobe models, field-selectable candela (cd) settings (15, 30, 75, 95 cd), and convenient mounting options for both new and retrofit construction.

Speaker strobe models feature the widest frequency response range in the industry spanning 300 to 8,000 Hertz. Designed for mass notification applications, the high-fidelity speakers improve the clarity of transmitted messages, enhancing comprehension for listeners.
