OREANDA-NEWS. ISG has been appointed to build two new Foster + Partners' designed buildings, including the new BBC Cymru Wales Broadcasting House in Cardiff for developer Rightacres. The ?80m works package also includes construction of an additional 120,000 sq ft office building at the Central Square regeneration site in the city.

The negotiated contract, which represents one of the largest ever private developer-led projects to be built in Wales, sees ISG construct the 150,000 sq ft Broadcasting House opposite Cardiff Central Railway Station. On completion, the BREEAM Outstanding building will provide office space for over 1,200 BBC Wales staff, and house state-of-the-art studio and production facilities.
