OREANDA-NEWS. An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission, led by Peter Dohlman, visited Minsk during November 9–20, 2015, to assess recent economic developments and discuss a new economic program that could be supported by IMF financial assistance. At the end of the visit, Mr. Dohlman made the following statement:

“The staff team and the Belarusian authorities made considerable progress in discussing a set of policies which could be supported by a three-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement. Discussions on some issues require more time and will continue from respective headquarters in the coming weeks.”
