OREANDA-NEWS. PJSC TATNEFT became the winner of the first All-Russian contest of the media organizations and press services of the Fuel and Energy Complex companies and "MediaTEK" regional administrations.

The awarding ceremony took place during an international forum on energy efficiency and conservation ENES 2015 dedicated to the development, introduction and implementation of energy efficient technologies and energy development. The event was attended by Alexander Novak, Russian Energy Minister, and Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

The press service of PJSC TATNEFT won the first prize in the main category "Open Media Centre" for creating the most open and efficient public relations service in the Fuel and Energy Complex. Prizes were awarded to the Company’s corporate newspaper "Oil News" for the best federal project to promote and create a positive image of the Fuel and Energy Complex  professions (“Popularization of the Fuel and  Energy Complex professions") and active media coverage of construction/renovation and starting of new projects ("New energy for the region"). The Company was also awarded prizes in the nominations "Best Website of the Fuel and Energy Complex’s company" and "Environmental standard" for   successful implementation of the federal environmental project of the Fuel and Energy Complex’s company for the Community.

The first All-Russian contest of the media organizations and press services of the Fuel and Energy Complex companies and "MediaTEK" regional administrations, initiated by the Ministry of Energy of Russia became the intellectual platform bringing together the workers of the Fuel and Energy Complex. Its main purpose is to attract the attention of journalists, professionals, experts and the general public to the urgent issues of the Fuel and Energy Complex development, as well as encouraging energy companies to the information transparency of the industry.

There had been more than 300 works supplied which were assessed by the Expert Committee It included Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, leaders of Russia's largest news agencies, the media, deans of the sophisticated faculties of journalism.

There were panel discussions held, as well as meetings of Russian and international experts and All-Russian Meetings on fuel and energy issues were held within the frame of the ENES 2015 forum.

Nuriya Valeyeva, Head of PJSC TATNEFT’s press service   made a presentation on the subject "Environmental initiatives of  the Fuel and Energy Complex companies as part of the current standard of the industry relations with the community". The report was presented at the master class dedicated to the best practices in the field of popularization of energy-saving, Fuel and Energy Complex workers’ professions and the industry’s information transparency.
