OREANDA-NEWS. The acting government today ruled to earmark over 100,000 lei from the government's reserve fund for the participation of a 31-strong National Army platoon in the parade organised on the occasion of Romania's National Day. The event is to take place on the Constitution Square in Bucharest on 1 December.

The Moldovan servicemen are invited to march with Moldova's national banner along with Romanian military in a special detachment creation to this end. The Romanian side will meet the expenses for accommodation and meal, while the return ticket and the daily fees are to be covered by Moldova.

The move is meant to back the strengthening of the political and military dialogue and deepen the strategic partnership with Romania, as well as in accordance with the provisions of the agreement between the Moldovan and Romanian governments in the military sector.
