OREANDA-NEWS. In order to save in times of crisis, 35% of the Russian car owners began to save money on their car insurance. These data were obtained in the online survey conducted in November of 2015 by the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", together with AVITO Auto, which was attended by over 8500 car owners.

In Russia as a whole 35% of respondents said that they refuse to insurance KASCO or they use different schemes to make it cheaper. In Moscow, it was even more of those who save on insurance - about 40%, and in St. Petersburg it is on the national level - almost 34%.

Slightly less than 1% of car owners have indicated that at their own risk they refused to insure the car, even OSAGO. And metropolitan residents indicated that in order to save they bought KASKO at the franchise.

Motorists in the crisis use various options of "cheapening" insurance. For example, the owner of the Great Wall (2007 manufacture year) from Tatarstan noted that in order to reduce the cost of insurance he registered a car on a man, who has rustic residence.
