OREANDA-NEWS. MAYKOR-GMCS has developed a mobile application for operational and production personnel of E.ON Russia, one of the largest energy companies in Russia. Its use increases the effectiveness of patrols and inspections of equipment, helping to optimize the costs of maintenance and repair and the prevention of accidents.

Mobile workstations simplifies the work of maintenance personnel. The application provides specialists with the finished route containing a unique set of control points and a list of indicators that need to be checked. If necessary, experts can take a photo or make audio recording of the detected defects. After the data readout on the equipment state, the data is quickly transferred into a unified system of financial and economic management of E.ON Russia based on Microsoft Dynamics AX. This data is used to optimize the maintenance and repair activities, in particular, for the planning of procurement and repairs.

"E.ON Russia pays much attention to minimize the risks of equipment operation. Using a mobile solution reduces the cost of maintenance and repair due to transparency of the maintenance and repair work and the timely defect detection," says Kirill Alifanov, director of business processes and information technology company, E.ON Russia.

The application is developed on the basis of Windows platform. The technical configuration of the solution meets requirements of the industry. Protected tablet supports the ability to work in a hostile environment with a temperature difference of -50 and +50 degrees Celsius.

Today, mobile application has been deployed in Shaturskaya GRES, Surgutskaya GRES-2, Yaivinskaya GRES and Berezovskaya GRES.

"For the application we use components of our modular platform VerEx that allows to implement flexibly the functionality in accordance with the customer's requirements," adds Lyudmila Sokolskaya, director of mobile solutions, MAYKOR-GMCS.
