OREANDA-NEWS. National Rating Agency has affirmed its national scale 'AA+' credit rating on the Ireland-based OIM ABS Limited. At the same time, the company’s its global scale credit rating has been revised to 'iBB+’. The outlook is Stable. The company was assigned its first-time NRA’s ‘AA-/iBB+’ ratings, falling into the “Holding and Financial Companies” section of NRA’s Rating List, on Nov. 1, 2012.

According to NRA’s rating methodology, OIM ABS Limited’s ratings are tied to those of Otkritie Holding OJSC. Incorporated in Ireland, OIM ABS Limited is a special-purpose vehicle (SPV) owned by Otkritie Holding. The company’s objective is to issue Eurobonds on behalf of Otkritie Holding member companies and their customers.

The high rating level reflects the strong market position of Otkritie Holding’s banking unit, as well as the growing capitalization, successful banking asset consolidation, strong corporate governance practices and high visibility and transparency of Otkritie

Holding OJSC. The latter’s rating serves as OIM ABS Limited’s support rating. In August 2015, NRA’s ‘AA+’ credit rating on Otkritie Holding OJSC was affirmed.
