OREANDA-NEWS. While overall Lincoln U.S. sales were down 2 percent, Lincoln U.S. retail sales for the month of November were relatively consistent with last year.

“We estimate that the overall premium retail market was down about 12 percent in November,” said U.S. Sales Analyst Erich Merkle.  “Lincoln maintained its year-over-year retail sales as we increased our share.”

Sales of the all-new Lincoln MKX were up 18 percent in November, with vehicles turning in just 26 days on dealer lots.  The Lincoln MKZ also had a very good month, with retail sales up 22 percent.

“We’re on pace to hit about 100,000 Lincoln vehicles sold by the end of the year, which would be our best Lincoln sales result since 2008,” said Merkle.
