OREANDA-NEWS. SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, today announced it has appointed Chris Whiting as Senior Director to lead SS&C's newly-formed Advisory Relationship Management team. Mr. Whiting will report to Dave Welling, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, SS&C's Advisory Market Group.

Mr. Whiting brings more than 20 years of experience as a technology applications and client engagement executive. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Moneta Group, where he played an instrumental role in technology strategy and implementation, brand positioning, process improvement, financial management, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Whiting takes the helm of the new Advisory Client Relationship Management team, which will support over 2,000 advisory and wealth management clients using Advent OnDemand®, Axys®, APX, and Black Diamond®. These solutions require a differentiated support model focused on accountability for client success and engagement with a team that specializes in working with advisors, wealth managers, and high-net-worth asset managers. This dedicated team will provide enhanced support levels and technological guidance tailored to clients' unique business goals, along with regional networking events and other advisory-focused industry initiatives.

"The vision of SS&C's new Advisory Market Group is to align our business around what our clients do rather than around what products they use.  Having worked as a C-suite executive at an independent wealth management firm, Chris is the outstanding candidate to lead our efforts to strengthen and enhance the level of engagement with our advisory client base," said Dave Welling. "This undertaking signals our continued commitment to investing in the advisory market and is representative of the enhanced offerings and additional services that our clients can expect as part of the SS&C family. Chris and his specialized team of advisory client relationship management experts will deliver tremendous value to our clients, providing them with the expertise and perspective that advisors need to thrive in a competitive marketplace."

Prior to Mr. Whiting's work with Moneta Group, he spent nearly 20 years at A.G. Edwards (now part of Wells Fargo Advisors), where he managed the firm's technology initiatives and integration efforts. He is a Certified Financial PlannerTM who holds both a B.S. and an MBA from Saint Louis University.
