OREANDA-NEWS. National Rating Agency has assigned its national scale 'BBB-' credit rating to ANKOR BANK JSC. The outlook for the rating is stable. It is the first time that the bank is assigned a NRA's credit rating.

The rating is supported by ANKOR BANK owners' commitment to developing the bank and the regularly taken measures to enhance the bank's capital base. In addition, NRA notes the reduction of the bank's currency risk and the single name concentration in its deposits in 2015.

The rating is constrained by ANKOR BANK's weak capital strength, loan low quality and the reduction of the bank's interest income generation capacity.
