OREANDA-NEWS. According to Rosstat, for eleven months of 2015 from Russian assembly lines it was made 1.2 million passenger cars – it is less by 23.6% than a year before. Meanwhile, in November, it was produced about 100 thousand cars, which is less by 22.2% than a year ago.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of November, several car plants stopped their assembly lines: St. Petersburg plant Toyota (until November 15th) in connection with the preparation for production of the crossover RAV4; the contract production Volkswagen at the facilities of GAZ (until November 10th) - because of falling demand in the Russian market, AvtoVAZ and GM-AvtoVAZ (before November 4th) - in connection with the annual inventory. Therewith, GM-AvtoVAZ, which has worked since July in a four-mode, returned in November to the five-day production schedule. In addition, Ford Sollers on November 18th suspended the production of cars at its plants in Vsevolozhsk and Naberezhnye Chelny until January 15th because of falling demand in the Russian market.

Meanwhile, Argun plant "Chechenavto" the last month launched the assembly of cars Lada Granta, by completing the production of sedans Lada Priora. And Kaluga Volkswagen plant began the production of cars Volkswagen Polo with engines produced in Russia.

We also add that the Russian car plants in November noted several production anniversaries. So, the Kaliningrad enterprise "Avtotor", which was launched in 1997, has produced 1.5 millionth car. The conveyor in Izhevsk produced the 100,000th liftback Lada Granta since the start of production in May of the last year. And Tolyatti Company LADA Sport produced the 5000th car LADA Granta Sport.
