OREANDA-NEWS. The Decision of KEGOC Board of Directors dated 10 December 2015 approved a new organization structure of the Executive Administration and reassigned some management and coordination areas. The following staff changes (appointments) were agreed upon by the decision of the Company’s management:

- Serik Ospanov is appointed the First Deputy Chairman of Management Board from 15 December 2015;

- Bakytkhan Zhazykbayev is appointed the Deputy Chairman of Management Board – Operations from 11 December 2015;

- Askerbek Kuanyshbayev is appointed the Deputy Chairman of Management Board – NPG Development and Corporate Governance from 11 December 2015;

- Abat Akmurzin is appointed the Managing Director – Branches and Affiliates from 11 December 2015;

- Muktar Bekenov is appointed the Managing Director – System Services from 11 December 2015.

KEGOC is the System Operator of Unified Power System of Kazakhstan, and it owns and manages the assets of the National Power Grid (NPG). The company is the natural monopoly. It owns about 24.9 thousand km of 35-1150 kV electricity transmission lines and 77 electrical substations with 36.2 GVA of installed transformer capacity. These lines and substations form the NPG. The company employs more than 4.8 thousand people.
