OREANDA-NEWS. Holding “TITAN-2” has chosen the Contractor for execution of works on pit excavation for main buildings and structures of the Finnish nuclear power plant Hanhikivi-1 under construction.

The right to enter into and fulfil the Contract was awarded to the Finnish company DESTIA LTD. In accordance with the Terms of Reference, the Contractor shall excavate the pit, remove the soil and perform drilling and blasting works. According to the terms of the Contract, the Finnish specialists shall  construct temporary roads, drainage channels, provide temporary power supply and lighting of the area.

The Contractor shall start the works on December 18, 2015.  The completion of works is scheduled for June 2017.
