OREANDA-NEWS. US NGL output from gas processing stood at 3.4mn b/d in November, down 1.3pc from the prior month, according to the Energy Information Administration's monthly energy review. Year-to-date production averaged 3.3mn b/d, up from 3mn b/d in 2014.

The numbers mark the first decline in monthly NGL production since May. LPG production from refineries fell 20pc to 358,000 b/d in November.

A combination of booming production, coupled with weak domestic demand, pushed US propane inventories to record levels this year.

LPG supplied, a measure of consumption, totaled 2.4mn b/d in November, down 4pc from October and down 10pc from year-ago levels, according to the EIA.
