OREANDA-NEWS. Consumers have made Ford Canada’s favourite automotive brand for the seventh consecutive year, led by F-Series, the top-selling vehicle in Canada for the sixth year in a row and the number one pickup for the 50th consecutive year.

“For seven years in a row, Canadians have chosen to purchase a Ford vehicle more than any other automotive brand, and we couldn’t be more thankful,” said Dianne Craig, president and CEO, Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd. “Leading the way, Ford F-Series celebrates six consecutive years as Canada’s favourite vehicle and half a century as Canada’s top-selling pickup.”

Canadians also made Ford Mustang the top-selling sports car, Ford Escape their favourite small utility, and Ford Explorer the number one large utility in 2015.

Lincoln sales were up 16 per cent in 2015, driven by the momentum of the brand’s reinvention and the launch of the all-new Canadian-built Lincoln MKX.

“Canadian consumers made 2015 a strong year for Lincoln as they continue to embrace the quiet luxury Lincoln vehicles have to offer,” said Craig.
