PJSC "Zaporizhstal": Production Results in December of 2015
OREANDA-NEWS. In December of 2015, the increase of production figures at PJSC "Zaporizhstal" was noted: iron production volume increased by 12.2 %, steel production - by 9.9%, and rolled stock production - by 19.7% in comparison with the same period of 2014.
353.5 thousand tonnes of iron, 353.3 thousand tonnes of steel and 304.3 tonnes of rolled stock were produced in December of 2015.
3807.8 thousand tonnes of iron, 3979.5 thousand tonnes of steel, 3354.0 thousand tonnes of rolled stock were produced January through December of 2015.
"Integrated Works "Zaporizhstal" is one of the few major enterprises in the economy of Ukraine, which managed to maintain and even increase the production volume in 2015 despite the difficult situation and the decline in production in the industry. From now onwards we will continue doing everything for steady operation of our enterprise and looking for new ways of increasing efficiency," noted the Chief Executive Officer of PJSC "Zaporizhstal" Rostyslav Shurma.
