OREANDA-NEWS. At the end of 2015, in Russia it was sold about 600 thousand cars with the help of government support measures. In an interview with TV channel "Russia 24" it was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov. According to him, we are talking about compensation at the time to recycling of the car, trade-in, and payments of interest on subsidized loans, auto leasing and direct purchases.

According to AutoNews.ru, in 2015 to support the auto industry it was allocated 43.3 billion rubles. The funds were directed to several programs: to support recycling and trade-in (22,5 billion rubles), preferential car loans (5 billion rubles) and preferential car leasing (1.5 billion rubles), as well as subsidies of purchases of NGV vehicles by the regions (3 billion rubles), and vehicles for the authorities (11.3 billion rubles). The recycling program was launched in September of 2014; the others were launched in 2015.

As it was reported earlier, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev took the decision to continue programs to support demand for cars in the I half of 2016 in the amount of 20 billion rubles. "Concern the automotive industry, the Government chairman adopted a decision on the continuation of this program - to support the demand for the next year. And from January 1st, our auto industry will participate in the continuation of this program. This is preferential leasing, the benefit car loans, and maintaining of demand through a program of recycling and trade-in. The decision was taken for the half of year in the amount of 20 billion rubles. Well, then it will depend on how the production market will develop", - said Denis Manturov.
