OREANDA-NEWS. Andrey Guryev, the CEO of PhosAgro (Moscow Exchange, LSE: PHOR), one of the world’s leading vertically integrated phosphate-based fertilizer producers, will be attending the World Economic Forum on 20-23 January 2016 in Davos.

The Russian delegation in Davos will be led this year by Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far East Federal District Yuri Trutnev.

Some of the topics to be discussed at WEF that are of particular relevance to PhosAgro include global food security, the transformation of European markets, innovation and the digital transformation of industries, the effects of automation and robotics on modern economies, and the outlook for Russia.

PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev said: “As the CEO of a leading producer of high-quality phosphate based fertilizers, which play a key role in ensuring food security for the over 100 countries where farmers buy our our products, I am looking forward to discussing the outlooks for the global economy and commodities markets in which PhosAgro works.

“I am especially interested in sessions where participants will discuss the outlooks for European, Latin American and Asian markets, which along with Russia and the CIS are priority markets for PhosAgro, and where we have opened sales offices.

“I hope that the forum, which brings together some of the world’s leading business people and economists, we will produce recommendations for solving the key issues facing the global economic community, including solving the global and local economic crises, so that we can move on to an era of sustainable growth.”
