OREANDA-NEWS. The report on banks' prudential ratios suggest that Ukrainian banks’ regulatory capital increased by UAH 30.5 billion to UAH 129.8 billion in December 2015.

The regulatory capital growth was attributed to the commencement of winding-up proceedings in respect of two banks with negative equity (Finance and Credit Bank PJSC and UKRAINIAN BANK OF DEVELOPMENT PJSC), as well as the increase in the regulatory capital of banks with foreign capital.

The regulatory capital adequacy ratio rose from 8.92% to 12.31%.

Additionally, the maximum credit exposure to bank’s related parties (Н9) plunged, driven by the increase in the regulatory capital  and the decrease in the aggregate amount of all claims of the bank on related parties and the amount of all financial commitments, provided by the bank with regard to the related parties.
