OREANDA-NEWS. A visiting session of the Volga RTN Section was held on the results of PJSC TATNEFT’s activities to ensure industrial and energy safety in the operation of hazardous oil production facilities.

The event was attended by Almaz Gimadiyev, Deputy Head of the Volga Rostekhnadzor Section, Rodion Karpov, Head of Interregional Supervision Department on the Oil Industry and Mining, Nail Ibragimov, First Deputy General Director for Production - Chief Engineer of PJSC TATNEFT, representatives of the Company’s structural divisions, small oil companies and service companies.

According to Nail Ibragimov, Chief Engineer of PJSC TATNEFT, the Company carries out its production activities in the territories of the Republic of Tatarstan, Samara, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk regions, the Republic of Kalmykia and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Crude oil production is performed at 77 licensed fields. There are 463 hazardous production facilities of the Company registered in the State Register. No fires, accidents and major breakdowns have occurred at the facilities supervised by the Rostechnadzor over the past four years.

The Company has completed a program in the area of industrial safety and labor protection for 2013-2015 spending the amount of RUR 1.6 billion for its implementation in 2015. The work is at present underway on drafting a program for the period 2016-2018.

The meeting reviewed the issues relating to the oil companies development plans of mining operations for 2016, compliance with the requirements of the Town Planning Code in the construction of hazardous facilities of crude oil production, energy security status, compliance with safe working conditions for drilling oil wells and others.
