OREANDA-NEWS. At the end of 2015 22% of revenue of "GAZ Group" were received due to deliveries abroad. According to the company's development strategy, by 2020 it is planned to increase this figure up to 50%. The president of "GAZ Group", Vadim Sorokin, said about it in an interview with the corporate edition "Avtozavodets".

Also, Mr. Sorokin pointed out that this is quite an ambitious program, which is designed for 5 years and it involves an increase in the share of sales (from sales) outside the Russian Federation more than twice. For example, the federal government, which is currently finalizing the development of measures to support the automotive industry, has identified the target growth of export share of 25% of revenue only by 2025.

At the same time, "GAZ Group" will continue to implement the investment program. In March it will begin the production of "Gazelle NEXT»-metal wagon with an average basis and at the end of April - May it must start the production of the first buses "Vector NEXT». The company also will carry small but fundamentally important projects, by adapting vehicles to the requirements of specific markets, by developing products for new segments. In particular, the company plans to engage in the creation of "GAZon NEXT» with a total weight of 12 tons and "Gazelle NEXT» with a total weight of 4.6 tons.
