OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2016. "CSR Development" Centre ranked UniCredit Bank first among financial sector companies in their last website transparency index survey of Ukrainian companies.

The assessment of websites was based on four criteria: non-financial reporting, content, navigation and accessibility (15% out of total result) - the potential availability of a website in terms of various aspects (language, contact information availability, adaptation for people with disabilities).

Rating makers note that local companies are gradually reaching the European transparency level by increasing the number of non-financial reporting, improving disclosure of non-financial performance as well as social responsibility policy.

Transparency index of Ukrainian companies’ websites is based on international methodology developed by Beyond Business (Israel) and the "CSR Development" Centre. Companies included in the Forbes Top 200 largest companies in Ukraine ranking participated in the study. In total the first 100 companies of the ranking representing 18 economy sectors took part in assessment.
