OREANDA-NEWS. Marat Gareev has been appointed Head of Medium Enterprises at Otkritie FC Bank. In this capacity, Marat will be responsible for expanding the client base and further developing customer services for mid-sized corporates (with annual turnover between RUB 300 million and RUB 3 billion) in all regions where the bank currently operates.  “Developing our relations with medium-sized businesses is a key part of our strategy,” stated   Senior Vice President of Otkritie FC Bank Gennady Zhuzhlev. “We see a large potential for growth in this segment, and I am confident that Marat, with his experience in the Russian corporate banking sphere, will be able to effectively work to meet our goals in this business area.”  Marat Gareev brings two decades of experience in the Russian banking services market.  Marat joins Otkritie FC from Alfa Bank, where he headed the regional centre within the bank’s corporate and investment division.  Marat began his career in the financial sector in 1996 with UralSib, where he held various positions through 2004. Marat Gareev graduated from Ufa State Petroleum Technological University in 1996, specialising in Economics and Management of Enterprises in the Fuel and Energy Industry. In 2004, Marat completed graduate studies at the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. In his new capacity as Head of Medium Enterprises, Marat has replaced Natalia Matyunina, who has decided to continue her career with another organisation.
