OREANDA-NEWS. AT&T Partner Exchange® is making it even easier for solution providers to take advantage of the next wave of channel growth. We will be expanding our mobility portfolio to include a sophisticated Internet of Things (IoT) platform. We also released a guide to help solution providers incorporate mobility into their go-to-market strategies.

These additions will soon join our already robust wireline and wireless offerings, giving solution providers a one-stop-shop to create integrated solutions for their business customers.

“Mobile connectivity is – and has been – creating a world of new realities,” said Sue Galvanek, vice president of marketing, pricing and product solutions, AT&T Partner Exchange. “And we want solution providers to help advance this ever-changing marketplace. As the first vendor program to offer a true business-to-business mobile resell opportunity, we have the game-changing technologies and expertise to help solution providers do just that.”

We’re bringing IoT opportunities within reach of enterprising solution providers. The roll out of AT&T Control Center, powered by Jasper, will give solution providers the foundation to deploy, manage and scale their IoT solutions with nationwide connectivity through the AT&T 4G LTE network. The powerful, cloud-based platform will support their sale of IoT solutions to customers across different verticals.

“For the past year, we’ve been working hand-in-hand with our solution providers, assessing their needs and readiness around IoT. We feel the time is right,” Galvanek said. “The Internet of Things has many of our solution providers curious – and excited. With the right tools, the opportunity for them and their customers is very real.”

“There isn’t an industry or business out there that wouldn’t benefit from the insights, efficiencies and potential revenue gains fueled by the IoT,” said Lisa Park, assistant vice president of channel marketing – Internet of Things, AT&T Business Solutions. “We’ve been rapidly growing our IoT ecosystem, launching new tools and forming alliances to help businesses capitalize on the many benefits of the connected landscape. Extending our IoT capabilities to solution providers in AT&T Partner Exchange will help accelerate this momentum.”

Velocitor Solutions – a solution provider in AT&T Partner Exchange – participated in our pilot of AT&T Control Center.   “With access to AT&T Control Center, we can help our business customers reap the benefits of connectivity on a much grander scale,” said Rudy Nemeth, vice president of sales, Velocitor Solutions. “Opportunities in IoT are endless. Working with AT&T Partner Exchange, we are better equipped to capture these.”

Solution providers in the AT&T Partner Exchange program continue to recognize mobility’s potential to drive both customer value and monthly recurring revenue. The number of solution providers selling mobility through AT&T Partner Exchange grew nearly 110% from December 2014 to December 2015.

“Our entire business model is built around wireless data connectivity,” said Rob Chamberlin, co-founder and chief revenue officer, DataXoom. “With countless applications, mobile data has the power to impact businesses of all sizes across all verticals. Working with AT&T Partner Exchange, we have access to the connectivity we need to provide our customers with enhanced operations, increased productivity and better wireless experiences.”

To help solution providers navigate the mobile landscape, AT&T Partner Exchange published “A Channel Executive’s Guide to Mobility.” This guide will help them explore how to build mobility into their go-to-market strategies.

“Mobility can be complex. We get that,” Galvanek said. “But the opportunities are too vast, and the consequences are too great to not participate in some capacity. We’re committed to making it as easy as possible for solution providers to find success. And in the 3 years since we launched AT&T Partner Exchange, we’ve racked up a solid track record to prove it.”
