OREANDA-NEWS. GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced delivery of a new leased Boeing 737-800 aircraft to new customer Air India Express to expand the carrier’s fleet. Five more new 737-800 aircraft are scheduled for delivery to the airline later this year.  All are part of GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing.

Air India Express is the low-cost subsidiary of Air India and currently operates a fleet of 17 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to some 30 destinations.
