OREANDA-NEWS. On Thursday, March 31, LLC LatRosTrans (LRT) received an award as the largest taxpayer in Latgale in 2015 based on almost 9 million euro contributions made to the state budget. The award was granted by the Minister of Finance Dana Reizniece-Ozola and Director General of the State Revenue Service Inara Petersone at the annual ceremony honouring largest taxpayers.

“There are two important oil pumping stations of the company located in the Latgale region – Ilukste and Skrudaliena, therefore we are delighted to receive this award. In the award ceremony, the Finance Minister Dana Reizniece-Ozola noted that she was satisfied and thankful for every large taxpayer honoured in the ceremony. “Each euro cent, which is honestly paid to the state budget, contributes to such sectors as security, education and health care, improved social welfare of citizens and raising competitiveness of the country. I hope that persistent and honest work of the large taxpayers will serve as a good example for other taxpayers confirming that a responsible attitude towards the fulfilment of tax obligations fosters stable development of the country,” said Dana Reizniece-Ozola.
