OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has reported consolidated FY2015 financial and operating results.

In 2015, Tele2 has exhibited the following financial results:

  • operating revenue gained 8.3% compared to 2014 and reached RUB94.6 bn;
  • EBITDA totaled RUB23.4 billion having decreased 6.4% compared to the same period last year; EBITDA margin equaled 24.71%;
  • investment into IT infrastructure and technical development totaled RUB39 billion. The growth totaled 214% as compared to 2014, a CAPEX-to-revenue ratio equals 41.2%.

In 2015, the company showed improvement in the following operating indicators:

  • as of 31 December 2015, the company’s subscriber base equaled 37.3 mn people having gained 2.2 mn people over one year;
  • average revenue per user (ARPU) totaled RUB217;
  • minutes of use (MoU) equaled 362 on average in Russia;
  • average price per minute (APPM) totaled 60 kopecks;
  • number of active wireless Internet users totals 37.5% of all-Russia subscriber base, which is equivalent to 14 mn people.
