OREANDA-NEWS. April 07, 2016. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has instructed the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service to gear up a draft law on the abolition of import duty rate for second hand cars. He announced at a Government meeting.

The Head of Government noted that the relevant decision should apply to all used cars except for cars originating from the Russian Federation.

"It will be the right step to remove the burden on citizens, including raising opportunities to purchase automobiles," he claimed.

The aforesaid bill, said the Prime Minister, should be put for consideration to an extraordinary Government’s meeting on 8 April and then submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
