OREANDA-NEWS. Since the start of 2016 Sberbank has provided almost 15.7 billion roubles for seasonal sowing work.

"This is 42% more than in the same period in 2015. In 2015, Sberbank issued RUB 72.8 bln for seasonal sowing work, which in turn was 78% higher than the figure for 2014," commented Anatoly Popov, Senior Vice President of Sberbank.

In 2015, Sberbank launched the product "Crop sector: lending for agricultural producers to perform seasonal sowing work", which is intended for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who are Russian residents. Loans can be provided before and after this work is carried out. Financing can be used for the following purposes: purchasing seeds, crop defence, fertilisers, fuel and lubricants, materials for repairing agricultural equipment, paying for crop insurance and buying electricity to power irrigation work. The future harvest can be used to secure loans, which are provided for up to three years.

Special conditions for express leasing are valid until May. In particular they apply to agricultural equipment and various types of production equipment. The new leasing programme is available in the offices of Sberbank Leasing and in Sberbank branches that serve businessmen and legal entities.
